1) Consultant Match
After you have purchased our package, one of our consultants will reach out to you via email within the next 24 hours.
Depending on your time zone and location, this timing may vary slightly.
2) Schedule a Consultation
You and your consultant will schedule an initial 1-to-1 video consultation. We generally use Skype for consultations, though you may request an alternative from your consultant if necessary.
3) Video Conference
You and your consultant begin working together via a 1-to-1 video consultation scheduled at your convenience. During this consultation, your consultant will get to know you by asking a number of questions about your background and goals. Your consultant will also begin the essay process.
He/she will ask targeted questions to help you find a topic for your essay, outline strong points and sub-points to include in your essay, and help you formulate a logical structure. At the end of the consultation, you will have a clear outline to guide your college essay writing.
If you are writing multiple essays, your consultant will help you prioritize which to work on first, and you will repeat this process for each new prompt as necessary.
4) Essay Draft
After you are done with the 1-to-1 video consultation, you should have an outline that thoroughly explains how you should approach your specific essay. Using the college essay outline, you will put together a rough draft of your essay.
Remember, Your consultant is always available to answer questions and provide advice as you work.
5) Essay Revision
Once you send your rough draft to your consultant, he/she will let you know if you need to provide any more information (for instance, specific details about a certain experience you describe). He/she will then edit the draft line by line, ensuring that the content, structure, and language are at the highest level.
You will have a chance to see the revised essay and ask any questions or resolve concerns.
Revision/editing work generally occurs by email, but you can always schedule a follow-up Skype consultation if you prefer.
6) Final Draft Submission
Congratulations! After days (or even months) of your hard work, you will have a final draft of your essay, ready to be submitted to your college of choice.
We strongly advise you not to change any content within the final draft of your college essay. Though the decision is ultimately yours, we will not be responsible for any decreases in essay quality resulting from changes made to your final draft without your consultant’s knowledge/input.
